Working Sheepdog Sales at Hay-on-Wye
Sunderlands & Thompsons held their first sale of working sheepdogs in the autumn of 2009 and following an extremely successful sale we will be holding at least two sales every year. The auctioneer, Matthew Nicholls, is well versed in selling sheepdogs and has a very keen and genuine interest in the working and training of sheepdogs which has its obvious advantages. For 2010 there will be a new setup to the working field to allow vendors the opportunity to show the true potential of their dogs and also giving potential purchasers a better view of the field.
The sale field is known as Little Ffordd Fawr Fields, Hay-on-Wye, HR3 5PR and is located adjacent to the B4350 between Hay-on-Wye and Glasbury next to the Hollybush Pub Inn.
The next Working Sheepdog Sale will be held on Saturday 5th June 2010, 11.00AM
Entries are now invited for this Catalogued Sale. Entries close 23rd May 2010.
Vendors are encouraged to enter their lots before the closing date to allow purchasers the opportunity to study form prior to the sale. It is to vendors advantage to have their lots fully entered in the catalogue.
