HORSE AND PONY SALES
Since the recent company merger, Sunderlands & Thompsons have been eager to re-establish the traditional horse and pony sales that were conducted regularly at Talgarth Market more than 50 years ago. Therefore in October 2009 Sunderlands & Thompsons held their first sale of horse and ponies in over half a century. The sale attracted nearly 300 entries with one Section D selling for a staggering £4,500! The sale attracted vendors and purchasers from as far as Yorkshire and Essex and such was the sale so well supported that we are now holding regular sales through the year.
