Sunderlands & Thompsons LLP have acted for many clients affected by schemes where an acquiring authority or statutory undertaker has compulsory acquisition powers. Recently, most notably, has been the gas pipeline through south Herefordshire operated by National Grid and a number of water pipeline schemes carried out by Welsh Water. In most cases fees will be paid by the acquisitive authority and, as a firm, we have the knowledge and experience to ensure that clients are properly compensated for any disturbance or loss that may occur.
